Meter's mission and long term ambition

Meter builds better internet infrastructure. We make it exceptionally easy for any business to deploy internet, networking, and Wi-Fi in their space. Reliance on internet infrastructure is growing exponentially for businesses of all sizes (you wouldn’t be reading this job posting without it!). Yet, getting connected today is incredibly difficult. The good news is - it doesn’t have to be this way. Meter combines best-in-class hardware, software, and operations to enable any company to seamlessly run a reliable, secure, and productive network. Our ambition is to evolve internet infrastructure into a turnkey utility, making getting connected in a new space as easy as turning on power or water.

This role is critical to Meter's success

To achieve our mission, we must build the world’s largest software-defined deployment program for commercial devices. Current methods and off-the-shelf software can’t meet our scale or quality needs. As a full stack engineer, you will create first-of-its-kind industrial software, translating physical processes into integrated software solutions. As a product leader, you’ll bridge engineering and operations with empathy, ensuring product cohesion and precision. Meter is one of the few places where this kind of work can be done - we’re eager to tell you more.

This role is based out of our San Francisco HQ office. Our in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday.

You will have an impact by

  • Leading design and development of our operations software ecosystem.
  • Scaling our deployments without increasing headcount.
  • Developing tools to streamline scheduling, deployment, and supply chain management.
  • Building pioneering AI applications to manage physical and industrial processes.
